Mother’s Day Retreat – Invincible Woman Workshop 

This Mother’s Day weekend, (May 10-12, 2019) Sat Nam Yoga is offering a 2-Day Yoga and Wellness Retreat for mothers & daughters or sisters or just good girlfriends who want to take a journey together….Or you can just come by yourself. 😊

The Retreat includes vegetarian meals, accommodations, one 1-hour floatation therapy and three hours each day of workshop using the ancient techniques and wisdom of Kundalini yoga, breath and meditation with emphasis on knowing yourself, acting & re-acting, promoting & demoting habits, relationships, divinity & creativity of a woman, caliber & character and motherhood. Workshops are Saturday 3 to 6 p.m. and Sunday 12 to 3 p.m.

2019 Earth Day Celebration at Sat Nam

Dear Yogis, Happy Earth Day! Let’s Celebrate Mother Earth together today, April 22, with a PRAYER, YOGA, MEDITATION also planting some bulbs and seeds and a gentle clean up. Please bring your garden gloves. Afterwards, we will have a delicious veggie PIZZA from Woodridge and a big GREEN SALAD.

Dear Yogis, Spring Sat Nam Greetings to you all,

April is a very special month at Sat Nam – it is a time when we celebrate the anniversary of opening our doors to the public. This year, we celebrate 13 years of serving the community by offering a safe space to practice Kundalini yoga helping our students learn more tools to deal with pressure, stress and depression….so they can live happy and healthy lives through awakening of the Kundalini Energy within. Thank you to all who have been a part of it all all these years! And now, a few Spring studio updates:

 

Spring Schedule Updates:

  • Gitanjali is teaching on Mondays and Fridays,  at 5:30pm
  • Olga Sahej on Wednesday at 6:30pm
  • and Pauline on Sundays at 12:15 after the Gong meditation experience with Marc
  • Additionally, the Level 1 Kundalini Yoga Teachers Training is starting here on May 4th and will run through the Summer with Graduation on Oct 6th
  • Throughout April there are NO classes on Tuesdays or Thursdays or Saturdays

Kundalini Yoga also provides more well-known benefits: increased flexibility, expanded lung capacity, a strong core, and stress alleviation. Here are 10 more great—and perhaps unexpected—benefits of Kundalini Yoga:

1. Inner Guidance
Kundalini Yoga develops the power of the intuitive mind. Your intuition is the voice of your own inner GPS. Every person has inner guidance available to them and can choose to listen and live with its support.
